Threads (2023)

Since I spent all of 2023 obsessing over ornamentation, it's only fitting I made a sculpture literally covered in it.

I'd never had the chance to work with non-ferrous metals, so in Fall 2022 I took a metalsmithing class.

I enjoy working on projects of all scales, but I find working small especially fun.

To me, ornamentation is a synthesis of fascinating ideas.
