• Odd Projects (2021)

Over the years I've had many ideas, some odder than others. These are an assortment of projects that didn't quite warrant their own entry but were still worth including!

  • 3D Models & Renders

In early 2021, I didn't have access to a workshop or many art supplies. But I did have a computer that could run Blender!

In 2021 I experimented with stylized shading, natural objects, and more detailed human characters.

    • A stylized neon and black 3D render of buildings
    • A cel-shaded 3D render of a monastery building
    • A cel-shaded 3D render of a simple, organic-looking spaceship
    • A 3D render of a dead tree on a white plane
    • A 3D render of a patch of grass
    • A 3D render of a stylized woman with a black tank-top and high pony tail

  • Sonobe Puzzle Cube

I made this little sonobe puzzle cube from pieces of an old Star Wars calendar. It was made by joining many sonobe units together to form different cube-based shapes. When put together in the right configuration, the pieces form a cube!

It's made from 122 sonobe units and measures only 3cm wide! It's sort of delicate but it's a fully functional puzzle that can be assembled and disassembled.

    • Seven pieces to a sonobe puzzle cube spread out on a table
